Why is there a cat? (Continue reading to find out!) Ever since Cierra Borgens was a small child, she knew that she wanted to help people. She would do what she could to help those that needed help. In high school, her grandmother and mentor, took Cierra under her wing and taught her everything she needed to know about training dogs. During these years leading up to the pandemic, Cierra was helping her grandmother every week with the group classes. Helping her grandmother sparked a new interest on how to help people. With a decade of experience under her belt, she moved to Reno in 2022, where she started Tacticool Animals with the goal to help as many people as she can with living a less stressful and more blissful life with their pups. As an advocate for every dog and cat getting their forever home, Cierra volunteers for shelters all around the Reno, Truckee and Carson areas. And for those that like their cats, she trains cats in harness and leash training. She learned this skill after getting her little tabby in 2021. Miracle's Blessing has gone with Cierra on hikes in Tahoe and even camping to the Mojave Desert. Due to Cierra enjoying being out of the house, hiking and camping; she needed a companion that was up to the challenges. So, she trained the only companion she had at the time, Mira, to walk on a leash and be comfortable in a harness. And would like to use this skill for people that love their cats as much as she loves hers. 

Cierra Borgens strives daily to allow people to get their lives back with the bonus of their forever companion by their side. With over a decade of experience working with dog breeds of all sizes, and behavioral problems of all sorts, she works toward accomplishing this goal. Her true passion, is training service dogs for military veterans. It's not just about teaching dogs; it's about giving our veterans the support they deserve, helping them find the perfect canine companion to make life a little easier.
